Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. We didnt have breakfast here (95 krona) but wished we had, seeing as Oslo is such an expensive city, we went to a bakery and ended up pay

My daughter and I loved Smart Hotel! Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Unfortunately we didn't book for our return stay and had to book into a different hotel :( as Smart Hotel was fully booked. Loved everything about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx

For the expensive Oslo accommodation this hotel is really bargain, with excellent service for the price provided. Bathroom adjustable heated floor,speedy wifi.comfy beds, adjustable heating and two mac pc in the lobby for internet access including the 24/07 free tea-coffee in the lobby concludes everything. From walking into the lobby and listening to the rock and roll music combined with a lobby looking like no other, I knew my days in Oslo were going to be special. I enjoyed the technology of opening the hotel room and elevator operation to staying in the room watching HDmt. The Thon Hotel Gyldenlove is just 10 minutes on foot to the centre. The staff were very nice. The breakfast is very good. The reception Staff were very polite and friendly, as were the staff in the restaurant too. Incidentally the Breakfast was also very nice with a wide selection too. The standard room was small but clean and very modern. I would stay again, however perhaps invest in a slightly larger room for a well needed extra bit of space. -

Location is simple the best for travelers - central location in the city, I can hop on/off my room during the day easily (e.g. to drop down the bulky souvenirs, to take some rest, etc.)
Room is clean and spacious for a single room

On arrival the staff at reception were very attentive, professional and were even nice enough to give me a room with balcony. - Location: Very central and convenient. Most of the sights are located within a 15 minute radius. Walking to the central station also takes 15 minutes. Bus and tram stops 1 minute away. Metro is 5 minutes walk.
Breakfast: Superb cooked breakfast! Oslo is one of the cities where you need to have breakfast included as food is ridiculously expensive. Staff kindly opened the breakfast 20 minutes earlier so we could get some breakfast before we catch an early train to Bergen.
