The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the moment that the booking was made. They were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and made us feel very welcome with our children aged 3, 2 and 1. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The buffet breakfast and complimentary evening buffet were exceptional. Highly recommended to anyone
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » wanting a central hotel with very reasonable rates - The hotel is located centrally and close to the National Theatre (walk down 2 blocks), Central Station (3 stops on Tram #18), Harbour (Radhus is 5 min walk). Light Evening Meal is good and not just 'light'. Breakfast spread is good and they server you hot fried eggs. Recommended for family. You can buy Oslo Pass from the hotel. A number of eating joints close by.

Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. We didnt have breakfast here (95 krona) but wished we had, seeing as Oslo is such an expensive city, we went to a bakery and ended up pay

My daughter and I loved Smart Hotel! Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Unfortunately we didn't book for our return stay and had to book into a different hotel :( as Smart Hotel was fully booked. Loved everything about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx

The reception staff was fabulous. I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. The hotel is, as the name implies, centrally-located. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions.
The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings.
Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)
Finally, the staff was easy-going yet very profe

The reception Staff were very polite and friendly, as were the staff in the restaurant too. Incidentally the Breakfast was also very nice with a wide selection too. The standard room was small but clean and very modern. I would stay again, however perhaps invest in a slightly larger room for a well needed extra bit of space. -

Location is simple the best for travelers - central location in the city, I can hop on/off my room during the day easily (e.g. to drop down the bulky souvenirs, to take some rest, etc.)
Room is clean and spacious for a single room
Breakfast is good and included (do the math when comparing the room price in Oslo, because food here is not cheap) -

Friendly smart attentive, and willing members of staff from check in to
check out. Staff were the best I have known, primarily as quite chilled
and not overly formal. I simply cannot stand any place where the staff
appear subservient. Here the balance was perfect. Cleanliness 10/10.
Top brand bathroom goods, and above all the hotel has a nice atmo

When I checked in to this Hotel i didn't like the first room I had, I am very particular in when it comes to colors of my sorounding specially when it comes to the colors of room or colors of the curtain( some people are just like this) I called the reception right away and asked them if they could give me another room with light soroudings...5 minutes later they gave me the room that was just perfect..excellent service..no wonder I am here when I am in Oslo.

Theater Hotel is 200 metres from Oslo City Hall and the waterfront. Its rooms have a flat-screen TV, a tea/coffee maker, a safe deposit box, large windows and tiled bathrooms.
