We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good.
The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable.
The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

If you’re looking for typical Sicilian life in its original charming beauty, it is the best place to stay in Sicilia. We absolutly agree with Andrejs,Praha,CZ comments.
Giuseppe and his family (they have their own hotel and restaurant M.A.T.E.S) are the nicest people whose we found in Sicily.

Good position between Etna and Taorimna, near the highway exit. Room was so clean, especially the bathroom. We loved that.

This was the delightful surprise packet of our trip. Milazzo is not really well represented in writings on Sicily. We found it a place not to be missed. We asked for the apartment with terrace, and we enjoyed it a lot. The bathroom and the kitchen were separated from the large room and everything was very clean.
The fact that we had our private terrace was very convenient.
We really felt like home and the owner was very friendly.

Morning breakfast is typically Italian with lovely home-made jam, brioche, nutella and coffee. The place is secure with private parking facilities behind a locked gate. Seaside view from the villa is likewise pleasant as well as the hospitality shown by the owners. Had no problem using wi-fi either.
