We enjoyed staying in La Casa del Poeta dell'Etna very much. Maria, the owner is very kind and helpful. She gave us great ideas and tips on what to see. Breakfast is also very good.
The room is nice and clean. Actually it was two connecting small rooms, with a double bed in each, so staying with children was quite confortable.
The location is great. 30 minutes drive to Etna and to Catania.

We asked for the apartment with terrace, and we enjoyed it a lot. The bathroom and the kitchen were separated from the large room and everything was very clean.
The fact that we had our private terrace was very convenient.
We really felt like home and the owner was very friendly.

We had some delays on our way to Enna and came almost at midnight. The owner came with the keys and used his time to explain things without irritation and stress about out late arrival, considering that he doesn't live there.
We had a room with the window facing a small street so it was very quiet to sleep. On the other hand it is located right in the centre and it takes 5-10 min walking to the major sightseeing. Free WiFi was very useful as well.
