The hotel was very clean and comfortable and we were made to feel most welcome. The location is great, being a few minutes walk to St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. This was one of the best trips I've had to Dublin. My flight was delayed, and my husband's flight was ever more delayed, so we arrived late at night, tired, hungry and grumpy. Room very clean, staff very friendly and professional. Overall was impressed. would def stay there again (it is generally always full and fell lucky with a cancellation). -
Good clean homely accommodation
in an excellent area in south Dublin including car parking space at rear - I would recommend this exemplary accommodation to anyone.

The bed has to have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! It really was great. Staff were very pleasant. Location was also brilliant. Most of all, though, I got a last-minute deal which was really good value. Oh yes, one other thing - there was a lovely little ceramic teapot in the room, a lovely change from having a tea-bag in a cup and I appreciated this very much!

as i was doing the marathon, i asked if i could check out a little later, as i needed a shower afterwards. they kept it on for me, were very nice and didnt charge me any extra - supherb service! - Very central. We were staying for the marathon weekend and it's perfectly placed close to the start and finish! Nice rooms, friendly staff.

You are at your home. You have a kitchen, can make your tea or lunch all the day, you have a kitchen for cooking or use the microwave. Room clean and the lady that takes care is friendly. -

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day!
