  We felt at home straight away thanks to the excellent friendly staff.Our room was extremely comfortable, furnished to a very high standard,had a beautiful king size bed and was exceptionally clean. Breakfast wasvery nice and tea, coffee, scones, cakes, fruit were available at alltimes to guests.   The facilities at Achill House were very good and this combined with the friendliness of the staff, made the stay very enjoyable. As I have a partial disability, the staff were excellent in helping me cope with the stairs and we were offered a choice of different rooms to suit my disability. I would certainly recommend this B&B to anybody staying in the Cork a - The staff is very friendy, and any issue you may have they will try to solve it. The room i was given it was in the ground floor close to the main door, so I ask for another one on the top, and I was changed without problem. As well in the room was a little bit cold and the staff turn on the heater. Also I was offered a tea and cookies when I arrived. The hostal is 10 min walking to san patrick street, when i stayed it was quiet and i had a good rest there, the beds are quite comfortable.

  Lovely old manor house with a very large parking area out front. Were greeted right away by the Lodge's owner who helped us with our luggage. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean overlooking their garden area. Were given really good directions, and a book with hints on what to see in Cork...even given a lift in cause he had an errand to run... τι λέει ο κόσμος » . Breakfasts were amazing.   Excellent Meals, although getting tea at breakfast was hard work. Had dinner at hotel one night and next night attended a formal function (with 350 others) at hotel and food and service were really excellent in both cases. - The refurbishment of the hotel has been a complete success.
