Staff were most friendly from trying to locate a phone charger for me tobringing ice to the room. It was a great stay and on the merit of thestaff alone I would recommend, the hotel is lovely too. - The room was lovely, particularly liked the free wi fi in the lobby. This was one of the very few B&B's that provided free internet, we do not have a tablet or laptop etc. and found it very handy. The sitting area was very comfortable with all one could require including a kitchen with coffee and teas. A 2 minute walk and we found ourselves in Trappers Pub ready for a good pub dinner. Gerry was very helpful making sure everything was to our liking.

The host was really lovely and helpful in advising us where to go and what to do. Galway town is a short walk of about 5 mins. Really pretty town with loads of traditional pubs, great shopping and street music.
Our room was really clean and tidy. Very secure and parking was on site. We drove from Dublin and signage to B&B was really easy to navigate.

Accommodation in Galway is generally quite expensive, but St Judes' Lodge was good value for money. The rooms were basic, but immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast (for €6 per person) was excellent and well worth it.
St Judes is just a short stroll (10 minutes) to Eyre Square. I would definitely stay there again. -

I had mistakenly booked the wrong date online. However the staff were fantastic about it and simply changed the reservation. Very large, clean and comfortable room. Great position, good quality accommodation attached to character pub right in Eyre Square in the heart of the attractive and vibrant city of Galway. Fabulous breakfast - individually cooked (instead of withering in a buffet) and served in a lovely room over the old pub. Pleasant friendly staff.
