The staff was helpful and friendly, and made excellent suggestions for dining in Honfleur (especially loved Bistro des Artistes for dinner . The rooms were lovely, clean, and charming, with a spa-like decor. The hotel was well situated and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It was a perfect place to stay in Honfleur.

Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights. Many restaurants nearby.

It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

The owner of the guest house was lovely and greeted us upon arrival, looked after us during our stay. Very accommodating with our 18mth year old. A wonderful old, quirky hotel right in the middle of Bayeux literally a stone's throw from the tapestry museum and the cathedral with great restaurants, cafes and bars right on its doorstep. Idyllic location, beautiful setting in the countryside but close to the coast. Staff v friendly and efficient. Lovely buffet breakfast, and dinner - good value and varied each night.
