We absolutelly loved the place. As some of the prefvious reviewers said, the rooms are actually more impressive then in photos. Many romantic details, the bed is very comfortable, bath supplies by l'occitane, bathtub, tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed juise, beautiful location, and I could go on and on. What's not to love about Le Clos de Grace. Eloise and Olivier (the
owners) are fantastic hosts. The property is well taken care and the
breakfast are excellent. The rooms were luxurious and extremely
comfortable. Each day Eloise gave us some great restaurant
recommendations. We would definitely stay there again on another trip to
Honfleur / surrounding area.

The staff was helpful and friendly, and made excellent suggestions for dining in Honfleur (especially loved Bistro des Artistes for dinner . The rooms were lovely, clean, and charming, with a spa-like decor. The hotel was well situated and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. It was a perfect place to stay in Honfleur.

We've never seen anything like it! -
The apartment was exactly as pictured. Everything was very clean and
comfortable. There was a bakery at one end of the block and a small
grocery store around the corner at the other end of the block. Astrid
was very helpful with everything. She helped us with restaurant
recommendations and even left a bottle of the the local apple juice for
us to enjoy. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Large room with rustic feel inside what felt like a castle. It was two
twin beds pushed together to make a king but that didn't bother us

Beautiful B&B in the Norman countryside. The rooms were spacious,
free wi-fi, free parking, and a huge breakfast. Good location for
touring D-Day sites. Located in the British sector. A 15-20 minute drive
to Bayeux; approx 40 minutes to Omaha and Utah Beach. There are no
restaurants in the village of Meuvaines; however, there is a wonderful
restaurant about 1 km away in the town of Crepon and a few restaurants
about 2-3 km away in Asnelles. The countryside is absolutely stunning!

Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites.

The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights. Many restaurants nearby.

We had a large beautifully appointed room that opened on to lovely gardens and a bathroom with plenty of space. The guesthouse was extremely charming as was our host Anthony who went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and assist us in anyway that he could. Our room was exquisite, with very fine antique furniture and the bathroom was perfect. A hotel with parking in the middle of Bayeux was a great asset to our touring holiday. It was nice to sit around a table with the other guests at breakfast and talk - very civilised.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel so at home. We booked La Mare Elan as a stopover point both at the beginning and the end of our two week holiday, and I can honestly say that all six of us were really looking forward to staying there again and spending time with the owners again. Charming bedroom and large en suite bathroom.
Breakfast was so enjoyable - with fresh bread and pastries, home made jams and bowls of cherries and redcurrants picked from the garden. With other guests and the owners on hand throughout, it had the atmosphere of a House Party..
The previous evening on the recommendation of Madame we ate well at a hotel on the coast at Houlgate

Great host, nicely equipped apartment, top location in Honfleur. Honfleur is a wonderful place - really romantic and the apartment house was located in a wonderful narrow street of half-timber houses, shops and cafes. The owner was really sweet and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The apartment was really spacious. -

This was an excellent overnight stop both going and returning from our holiday. My family of 5 where easily accommodated within a beautiful room. La Vieille Ferme is a well run B+B. The owners were welcoming. The lounge area had many books and brochures, as well as wifi. Good breakfast - we were offered delicious scrambled eggs from the resident hens. Twin room suited us (mother & adult son). Situated where we wanted to be, but also easily reachable from the Caen ferry so could be a useful overnight stop before heading south.
