This was an excellent overnight stop both going and returning from our holiday. My family of 5 where easily accommodated within a beautiful room. La Vieille Ferme is a well run B+B. The owners were welcoming. The lounge area had many books and brochures, as well as wifi. Good breakfast - we were offered delicious scrambled eggs from the resident hens. Twin room suited us (mother & adult son). Situated where we wanted to be, but also easily reachable from the Caen ferry so could be a useful overnight stop before heading south.

We absolutely loved the location. It was about 6 miles outside Bayeux
and only 10-15 minute drive to Omaha Beach. The staff is very friendly,
though a couple did not speak great English they made a point to help us

Wonderful host, whose home made French bread, croissants and apple turnovers are to die for! Lovely breakfast. Good internet connection. We loved the location of the hotel which is in the country side but two minutes from the little town. The owners have a restaurant on site and make the most delicious meals with a varied menu. The owners are a charming couple who are ready to help you with suggestions of nearby sites. Honfleur is 15 minutes away and the most charming town not to be missed.

Arromanches is a great base of operations for exploring the Normandy
Landing sites. With the remains of the Mulberry visible from the town,
it sets the tone and peaks interest. The Mountbatten turned out to be a

very beautiful hotel! The room is like a 'private' smsll apartment. Cleanliness is great. You have also a private parking, very useful during the day, when Arromanches is starting to become croudy.
The breakfast was essential but really good.

Absolutely lived the village. Perfect. Walking the marina and seeing the fresh fish unloaded in the morning - just had to but some oysters. A simply beautiful place to stay and an excellent hotel (both for the thought that had gone into the hotel rooms and the location). Won't hesitate to go there again.
