This hotel and the proprietor are both absolutely charming. Carinne made us feel as though we were being welcomed into her own home. On arrival she gave us coffee and biscuits and a very helpful explanation of what Ieper had to offer. Our room was private, very quiet and very comfortable. I can not think of anything we didn't like. Carine , one of the owners is simply a very lovely person. She made us tea as soon as we arrived and spent ages chatting with her. Her chocolate cakes were delicious. Then she showed us to our room - the 'wild' one. I had seen the photos of it on the web site but they didn't do it justice. As soon as Carine left, having shown us how to work everything, we were straight into the bath!!. The snacks and the free mini bar were very welcome. The breakfast

We had an outstanding experience. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and considerate. The baked goods were delicious, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and convenient (we were able to return for lunch on two days) and the opportunity to park (in and out free) was a pleasant surprise.

Caroline and Julian were lovely hosts. The B&B is located in a peaceful location within 10mins drive to Bruges and 25mins drive to Gent. Approximately 50mins drive from Dunkirk. The room is beautifully decorated with an ensuite shower. We woke to a beautiful view of the countryside and farm animals. Caroline offered us fresh towels every day.

The friendliness of the hosts and quality of breakfast rivals a five-star hotel. The room itself was rustic and cosy. Nevertheless did the modern furnished bathroom fit the mood of the romantic ambience of the accommodation. The domestic animals (which are not allowed in the room) love to be fondled by everybody. But certainly the climax of a stay in B&B Le Plat Pays is the breakfast, which you can enjoy in the room. It consists mostly of selfmade products from the houseowners farm.

You'll have the whole top floor to yourself - bedroom, livingroom and bathroom. All very well equipped and comfy. Wonderful breakfast is served in the cosy basement with a log fire burning. The house is very close to the centre even if it is a bit away... you just have to cross the ring road and you are there. Will stay again for sure... :-)

Nancy was fantastic! We had a large group with kids and booked both the 4 bedroom and 2 bedroom houses. There was plenty of room for everyone. Both houses were well stocked with dishes and everything needed for cooking. The owners were awesome in that they allowed the children to help with the farm animals, and there was a great play area for the kids. Brugge was less than a 5 minute drive, the beach was a 25 minute drive and Brussels was approximately 60 minutes away. Great stay! Would d

the atmosphere was very eclectic... modern facilities in a 14th century building! - superb location in the heart of Brugge's city center, wireless internet is available free of charge, very friendly lady who's running the BandB, price is very reasonable, no problem to put an extra children's bed in the room
