If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.

There are timetables in the hotel for the buses and they also have a map of the city centre. Aldi and Spar and Mcdonalds are nearby at - If you do not know where to have a breakfast have it in the hotel! If you are travelling by car there is an underground parking so you do not have to worry about a parking space even if the hotel is full, and you probably will not use the car because with a SalzburgCard all buses are free! Buying a SalzburgCard is a big advantage and very good deal if you want to see most of the museums (the castle with the trolley) - just get a brochure of the SalzburgCard and you'll find out why it is a must!
