  Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  Loved the owners very much. So accommodating and fun!! This hotel was probably our favorite on our trip. Salzburg was also our favorite place we visited. - great stay. Only one night but it was a comfortable night

  good location all staff friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, able to access breakfast a little earlier on last morning. Also most helpful in returning item to us which we left behind- thankyou - the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and they were all willing to help with directions or give recommendations on things to do in Salzburg.

  The family room was very spacious and clean. Even though the room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift, the staff very happily helped with our luggage.   This was an amazing find. Literally in the heart of old Salzburg; close to the water, Mozart's birthplace and the French Church with a beautiful panorama of the city. We suspect because it's only newly open (rebuilt in 2010-12) people don't know about it yet but it is without fault. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious, kitchen and laund... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ry, computer available for guests - really not enough good things to say about it. - The location was very central, walking distance to most attractions, and we loved the huge entrance doors and the beautifully renovated light interiors. We made good use of the kitchen area for cups of tea, breakfasting, and also chocolate from the vending machine. The computer was useful for checking weather and emailing home, but wifi would be good to have if possible.
