Heimgartl is perfectly located on the bank of the River Inn with a wonderful view over to the city on the other side. The room was very pretty, with a bay window overlooking the river. We
had a table and two chairs so we were able to picnic in our room. There
is a waterfall inbetween this hotel and the building next to it.
It's very close to the Alpenzoo; a steep walk up with switchbacks
through a lovely wooded area or a short drive to their parking lot. Road
noise with the windows open is problematic, but practically disappears
with windows shut. We enjoyed our night in watching German movies on the

The Location, The price, the morning breakfast was abundant, not just a roll and beverage, and the staff. Thank you very much. For those on a budget, it's the place to be and it is a very short, direct walk to the train station. For those that can afford 5 star hotels , the Goldene Krone has all you need so why overpay?? - Delicious Breakfast

What a wonderful place to stay, friendly staff, cosy rooms (ignore any comments about the bathroom/kitchens in need to renovation - they function just fine), clean, heated, good breakfast, great price. - Great service and friendly staff, close to everything

It's is a fantastic hotel if u r travelling alone or with a friend , as it is budget friendly, located just outside the train station,near the picturesque old town.however the rooms are a bit small to have an extra bed if u r travelling with kids.we had a good stay. Judy and Micheal made you feel at home with their warm and friendly approach to guests. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The room was large and comfortable, with feather down doona and pillows. The bathroom had under floor heating, with a good shower. Loved the balcony and location - bus at the front door.
