We stayed for 3days/2 nights in this very nice and beautifully
located hotel. Double rooms are well sized but for 3 adults a bit small.
View from the restaurant towards the central mountains is spectacular.
Breakfast is good and dinner was always delicious. This hotel is perfect
for an enjoyable trip to Torres del Paine although quite expensive. -

Liked a big lounge where we could see the Torres Del Paine National park pretty well. Room was also nice, clean, had a big window. We had a superior room as it was advised in the review. It was right, without the view from superior room it is not worth it.

A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. -
It was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time we went out for tours. Staff was very friendly.

Beutifful View of the Laguna

We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. Hotel has a very nice view and is away from the noise of the town, something that is appreciated when you come back very tired from the excursions and just want a deep sleep. -

We spent 2 nights in El Calafate, wished could have stayed longer to
extend the stay at La Cantera. Service was perfect, Giorgina in
particular made our stay soo easy, smooth and hassle free that made us
happy to be there. Recommendations for excursions were right, breakfast
was very good (ask my gf for the homemade cakes), room big and clean.

Staff were very attentive to our needs, made our lack of language
diversity simple by helping in english, the dinner menu and chef were
amazing and our expectations from other travellers who commended the
chef online were easily met with evidence of his skill. The tours
organised through the hotel were cheaper than those we had researched
online. Thanks!

Everything was excellent. Breakfast better than most. Staff a cut above. New, everything worked. Everything in first rate condition. Good size room. Excellent tv, for those that care. Large comfy public areas. Fast computer. Wifi ok. -

Excellent location close to the bus station, and not far from the main street. Helpful staff. The breakfast was nice in Argentinian standards. We received a free welcome drink! -

All staff including the restaurant one went way beyond their duty, so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, best view of the lagos in town and only few minutes walk or cab from town if you need to go there. The restaurant within the hotel made some very good meals and did gluten free food for my wife both at breakfast and supper...and

The staff is amazing and honest and speak English. They gave us some good recommendations about places in the town.
The room had nothing special. Regular, one bed + tv + window (huge though) room + bathroom ...
The price (probably due to off season) was very attractive.

A true, family owned hospedaria with rooms that are very cozy and warm
with excellent views of the Fitzroy range. We also loved the simple
decorative touches that made it so much more comfortable than other
places we have stayed at. There are only 3 rooms, so it is also nice and
quiet. We really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't your usual hostel.

Very helpful staff and a warm and cozy place to stay! They had a large common area to meet & eat breakfast (which was included in the room rate). They gave us great restaurant recommendations and were really helpful in booking an excursion to the glacier. -

Gabriel, the host, was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel and rooms
were decorated with a lot of taste. The hotel was located near the bird
reserve and lake. It was very peaceful to stay at this hotel. The hotel
has a restaurant that serves specialities from Patagonia. It is also
very nice to have the tea and cake offered every day between 5-7p

Staying at Cauquenes de Nimez was one of the best travel experiences we ever had. It is not a place for those looking for luxury, but instead you will find a great staff that will make their best to make you feel like you are at home. Have a free cup of tea at 6 o'clock looking at the birds flying over the Nimez laguna and waking up with the birds singing is really fantastic. Located only 15 minutes-walk away from the center of the city. Thanks Sr. Gabriel and the team for the great hospitality

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was slightly better
than we are used to in Argentina. There are nine rooms around a small
central garden. The garden provides for an excellent location to read a
book or enjoy the sun. The rooms are cosy and clean (not large). Good
value for money. The main shops are 5 minutes away. -
