We stayed for 3days/2 nights in this very nice and beautifully
located hotel. Double rooms are well sized but for 3 adults a bit small.
View from the restaurant towards the central mountains is spectacular.
Breakfast is good and dinner was always delicious. This hotel is perfect
for an enjoyable trip to Torres del Paine although quite expensive. -

Liked a big lounge where we could see the Torres Del Paine National park pretty well. Room was also nice, clean, had a big window. We had a superior room as it was advised in the review. It was right, without the view from superior room it is not worth it.

A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. -
It was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time we went out for tours. Staff was very friendly.

what a beautiful house!
I stayed there for 2 days with my wife. The owner was very kind and gave us useful information to do activities in the El Calapate. moreover room is perfect, especially large, clean and gorgeous. also the kichen located in my room was very convinence and useful. we cooked our dishes and had a nice time. -

She helped us to organize a day trip to Glacier,mini ice trekking is recommended. Breakfast was okay with selection of bread,cheese,ham,yogurt drink,cereal etc. -
Best hotel we stayed in during our 2 months in Ar. Modern apt style rooms with lots of space to spread out.
Owners were very friendly & helpful. Their daughter was also very Good with English & booked our tours made lunches and got us to the airport with ease.

The host was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. She also told us about an excellent restaurant.
The room is clean and comfortable, everything is modern and looks new. The kitchen area was useful (especially when one evening we wanted to eat something else than lamb/beef).

I would recommend this place to anyone. -
The person who received us in the hotel was very nice and helpful. The installations were adequate for the price, the internet was surprisingly fast, and the satellite television offered an enormous number of channels. The location is also very good, close enough to the main strip so everything could be done on foot, but far enough so we wouldn't be bothered by the crowds that fill the city center.

Beutifful View of the Laguna

We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. Hotel has a very nice view and is away from the noise of the town, something that is appreciated when you come back very tired from the excursions and just want a deep sleep. -

We spent 2 nights in El Calafate, wished could have stayed longer to
extend the stay at La Cantera. Service was perfect, Giorgina in
particular made our stay soo easy, smooth and hassle free that made us
happy to be there. Recommendations for excursions were right, breakfast
was very good (ask my gf for the homemade cakes), room big and clean.

Staff were very attentive to our needs, made our lack of language
diversity simple by helping in english, the dinner menu and chef were
amazing and our expectations from other travellers who commended the
chef online were easily met with evidence of his skill. The tours
organised through the hotel were cheaper than those we had researched
online. Thanks!

Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). The staff can not speak English, but he is willing to be helpful, a nice person. The hotel have a very good facilities, including a small chicken.

Located very close to the bus terminal and the town. Staffs (Mother and the son) were very very helpful and flexible with the payment, check in/ check out time and so on. One day we had to leave at 5:30am, breakfast starts at 6am but they left coffee and breakfast for us. Also on the day we left, shuttle service came one hour earlier than schedule

New owners since May 2013. Making it a warm welcoming place. We stayed 4 nights. Superfriendly, English and Spanish speaking. Very helpfull, especially Ramiro who helped us with everything we asked and more, even with our bustickets to ibera! Nice big comfortable rooms, clean with comfy beds, great breakfast. Close to busstation and one block from main street. We warmly recommend this place! One of the best places we stayed at in Argentina!

All staff including the restaurant one went way beyond their duty, so nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, best view of the lagos in town and only few minutes walk or cab from town if you need to go there. The restaurant within the hotel made some very good meals and did gluten free food for my wife both at breakfast and supper...and

The view from the windows is amazing. Full panoramic look of the lake.
The staff is amazing and honest and speak English. They gave us some good recommendations about places in the town.
The room had nothing special. Regular, one bed + tv + window (huge though) room + bathroom ...
The price (probably due to off season) was very attractive.
