We booked a two person cabin, which turned out to be really tiny, so when the owner offered us a 6 person cabin for a bit extra we jumped at the chance (it's off season so very quiet in town). I must say this hotel could not of been better as far as taking care of us. When we needed extra nights they worked hard to let us stay in our same room. The last night we had to move across the street and they let us walk over and still enjoy their fabulous breakfast!!! They made sure my husband had Gluten free as well. Excellent English at t

This is an excellent 4 star hotel.The location is central to everything yet fairly quiet. Checkin/checkout were very quick, bellman always around and helpful.The breakfast was very good by argentine standards. This property is obviously run by a profesional hotelier. The rooms are large, cozy and very well designed.A spectacular value at the price offered.

We LOVED this hotel. Its like an oasis of luxury at a good price. Room is spacious and comfortable, with heat in both the room and bathroom. Bathroom is large and spotless. Service is also great.
Breakfast buffet is good.
Location could not be better, 30secs to the main street of El Calafate. -

Very helpful staff and a warm and cozy place to stay! They had a large common area to meet & eat breakfast (which was included in the room rate). They gave us great restaurant recommendations and were really helpful in booking an excursion to the glacier. -

located hotel. Double rooms are well sized but for 3 adults a bit small.
View from the restaurant towards the central mountains is spectacular.
Breakfast is good and dinner was always delicious. This hotel is perfect
for an enjoyable trip to Torres del Paine although quite expensive. -

Liked a big lounge where we could see the Torres Del Paine National park pretty well. Room was also nice, clean, had a big window. We had a superior room as it was advised in the review. It was right, without the view from superior room it is not worth it.

We paid around £100 per night but we were not disappointed, the spa was great after a day on the glacier and the massages are quite reasonable compared to London prices. The food was great and the room was large and spacious. The view of the lake was lovely and the shuttle into and out of town was frequent. -

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was slightly better
than we are used to in Argentina. There are nine rooms around a small
central garden. The garden provides for an excellent location to read a
book or enjoy the sun. The rooms are cosy and clean (not large). Good
value for money. The main shops are 5 minutes away. -

A cosy place with the most amazing spa: Jaccuzzis, hot pool, steamroom, sauna, massage etc., all situated in a forest-like environment. Exellent breakfast. Gonna take my wife there, ALONE. -
It was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Most of the time we went out for tours. Staff was very friendly.

We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. Hotel has a very nice view and is away from the noise of the town, something that is appreciated when you come back very tired from the excursions and just want a deep sleep. -

Everything was really good. Staff friendly and speak perfect english. They helped with bus arrangements.They were informative about the trekking options in the area.. which brings us to its perfect location near the beginning of the trekking path to mount fitz roy.. also close to many restaurants, local pyb and trekking tools hiring shops.

Very good standard of hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast to fill you up ahead of a day's hiking. The hotel provides lunchboxes for hiking, one is enough for two people. Location is excellent halfway between two main trailheads, within five mins walk of most restaurants.
