  Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was visiting my girlfriend and they were able to arrange a bouquet of flowers for me.   This is my second stay at the Aurora (first was August 2012). Still great value, very nice staff, excellent breakfast, and nice rooms. As a result of Ukrainian policy I think public area smoking has decreased and thus the lobby is not quite as filled with the stench of cigarette smoke so that is good.   Extremely friendly staff. Girls on the front desk spoke English and it was no problem checking in at midnight. The concierge was very helpful and spoke a number of languages.   The hotel seemed like new. Rooms were large Western style with nice bathrooms and very clean. We traveled to Kiev, Kharkov, and Odessa and this was the best accommodations that we had the entire trip. The cost was reasonable and compared to the other places, a very good value.   This almost brand new hotel is a very good place to stay in Kharkov. The facilities are huge and the services are perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
