  Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was visiting my girlfriend and they were able to arrange a bouquet of flowers for me. Also the airport taxi service (15 Euro) is excellent and they arranged taxis for me when needed.   This is my second stay at the Aurora (first was August 2012). Still great value, very nice staff, excellent breakfast, and nice rooms. As a result of Ukrainian policy I think public area smoking has decreased and thus the lobby is not quite as filled with the stench of cigarette smoke so that is good.   I loved the hotel. Actually I felt in love with the City Club Hotel. Very cool, fresh and clean. I am not sure when the hotel was built exactly but it looked very new to me. Rooms are superior.   Extremely friendly staff. Girls on the front desk spoke English and it was no problem checking in at midnight. The concierge was very helpful and spoke a number of languages. Hotel is central and within walking distance to many places. There is a Metro station just around the corner for longer trips or the staff can call a taxi.   The hotel seemed like new. Rooms were large Western style with nice bathrooms and very clean. We traveled to Kiev, Kharkov, and Odessa and this was the best accommodations that we had the entire trip. The cost was reasonable and compared to the other places, a very good value. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was great - The service and attitude of staff was excellent. Breakfast, for me, was a particular high point being a British style buffet.

  This almost brand new hotel is a very good place to stay in Kharkov. The facilities are huge and the services are perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The underground is just 2 minutes from the hotel and by this you are down town in 10 minutes.
