  I was delighted with the very clean and pleasantly laid out accommodation which included an ensuite bathroom. Entrance to the lodge was by key swipe into a cosy entrance hall with an extra key swipe door taking you to the bedrooms. This gave both a sense of security and independence for going in and out.   Arrived in the middle of a wake where the vicar, clearly having finished his part of the proceedings, was able to offer more help than the receptionist who very clearly was still being overwhelmed by his – 110 mourners, who appeared to be doing anything but mourning, instead of the estimated 65. The room was extremely hot from the sun but was pleasant - The rooms were of an excellent size, the bathroom ideal(though if you were not careful the power shower could blow you out of the room!!) and the location of the accommodation was brilliant. Total quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful to a fault and the nmanager Kevin could not do enough to make the stay perfect. Absolutely excellent.
