  The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet! Some lovely garden with tropical plants including a eucalyptus tree. I found the manager on call, Alex, very helpful when I needed change of mattress.   The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could have eaten something at the hotel. Maybe ordered takeaway if nothing else! The staff were extremely pleasant, polite and helpful (especially Russell who appeared to be on duty throughout our stay!) The room... 别人怎么说 » was very clean. We could not hear the wedding which we had been assured of. Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in - The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

  Hi again everyone , im staying here @ ibis hotel in plymouth this week , this hotel is so relaxing very close to marsh mills shopping centre. Staffs are very nice and friendly, good value for money.   The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.   I had a wonderful week here. Caroline and Alan made me feel at home, and although travelling on my own I felt I was not lonely. The lovely surroundings with Dunster, Minehead or the Dunkery Beacon kept me busy and the beauty of nature in this area provides a welcome break to the stresses of everyday life.
