  A very warm welcome. Would stay again and tell family and friends howgood it was. The breakfast was very good. Paul and lorraine made youfill right at home - Lovely friendly couple running the hotel. Good facilities. 5 minutes walk from the Riviera Leisure Centre where I was attending a function.

  I stayed here as I had a family wedding to attend. Complimentary pot of tea on arrival from the host June which was lovely. Fast, efficient check in and the room was spotless. June and Carl were lovely hosts and made you feel really welcome, making time to have a chat with you also.   The hotel is set in a very good location near the sea. It has character of the old seaside town hotel, complete with tartan style carpet!   The hotel was beautiful, the setting lovely. There was a wedding taking place but we were warned. However, it would have been good if we could have eaten something at the hotel. Also the rooms were not too hot as in other hotels we have stayed in - The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.
