  I was popping up to london for 2 days for college interviews, and after looking at the price of some hotels it seemed stupid paying near enough £200! I choose a room in a female only dorm,I'd never stayed in a group room before but it was fine, my expectations were majorly exceeded! The bed was really comfy, clean and although I was sharing a room... 别人怎么说 » with other people it wasnt a problem at all, the other girls were lovely, and the shower facilities were handy each morning. I don't think ill ever b - The equipment is amazing (other than the very small kitchen), particularly the room (I was in a 4-bed) displayed a very high standard. The breakfast was decent (no fruit anymore though, as visitors had stated in previous reviews). Wifi at the ground floor and nice ares to sit, relax or even work. The location is certainly not central, but Oxford street is 20 mins away and the Jubilee Line will drop you off at St. Paul's or Buckingham Palace in not much more time.   I liked the friendliness of the staff who did go that extra to help out. The bar food was reasonably priced for London and of good quality. The half price first drink was extremely welcomed after a long day. Free wifi good. Breakfast adequate. Lots of seating in the lounge area.   I stayed here for three weeks whilst in between flats and it was a god send! Some nights are under £10, and considering that includes breakfast it's indisputably great value. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and more than happy to help. The rooms are kept clean as well as the bathrooms on a daily basis. Was happily proved wrong, yes, it was busy, but I didn't have to queue for toilets/showers at any time, and breakfast was fine, with plenty of free space at the tables.   We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village. The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters. We read about dirty everywhere, noise allnight long and rooms with not enough space to move, but we found none of - Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast, great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.). Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really good price.
