  My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! From the time we arrived we were welcomed like family and we received excellent advice about things to do and see in Edinburgh.   Really enjoyed our stay - you could not meet a nicer or more genuine couple than Dot and her husband. The room was really nice with a lovely shower and big tv. The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Breakfast was good with a hot and cold buffet available. We would definatley stay here again.

  We booked a double and got a very spacious and comfortable room downstairs with 2 beds (queen & a twin). Check-in was quick. Heaters worked great for the chilly Dec weather. The shower always had hot water. Breakfast buffet consisted of cereal, toast, jam, yogurt, cheeses, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea was perfect to start the day. Free Wi-Fi good for checking out local restaurants etc. Is about a mile walk from train station, with a nice bar restaurant called "Reverie" near-by on the way in to town. Breakfast was good, with coffee or tea to suit. We would stay again.
