Having read the reveiws it was no surprise that the hotel is on a steep slope. We booked a standard room which was a bit on the small side but clean and comfortable, if larger room required book deluxe or sea view.   Almost everything! The staff were super nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, complete with all necessary amenities. The hotel is not on a beach per se, but you can walk there in like 5 minutes. As it's located in the heart of Sairee it is within walking distance to convenient shops and restaurants. It is quiet but right on the doorstep of some wonderful bars and restaurants! Brilliant. It was our second stay as we loved it so much a couple of weeks before!!!

The beach is gorgeous, we did snorkel every day, using the hotel equipment that was borrowed at no charge at it was good quality, but next time we will buy and take our own, so you don't have to run for it every morning. You can relax on the soffa on the terrace just about 7 steps from the water. The grounds very green&peacefull and I believe that even if you are not staying in a castaway villa you will enjoy great views.   One of the best I stayed at while in Thailand. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The resort is "hotel style" and less than a 2 minute walk from all the major bars and restaurants in Koh Tao.
