  The staff/owner was the nicest lady we met on our entire trip. When she found out it was our honeymoon she put us in the nicest chalet away from everyone, with the best view of the mountains. She also called into the restaurant we were going to and bought us dessert! The best part though was that she was so helpful (but not in an overbearing way).... 别人怎么说 » She hand wrote a map for us detailing some of the secret places to visit for best views, etc... and also gave recommendations on the best time of day - Everything, I honestly can't say enough! We loved our stay and will definitely return to JAG escape, Jo was so friendly, she had outstanding local knowledge and we were kept well informed of the Haast Pass closure information. The included breakfast was exceptional and had everything you could possible want. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable, I could have stayed forever! I think our favorite thing was that all the products eg: coffee, shampoo, soap etc were all NZ p
