  This is a lovely Chambre d'Hotes, in a beautifully restored old building around courtyards, decorated in French country style, and very chic. It is very close to the town centre and picturesque harbour, but is quiet and peaceful inside. The bedrooms were comfortable, warm, very pretty, with en suite - It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

  I can't say enough good things about La Naomath. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and just a few minutes' drive to the town center of Bayeux. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and comfortable.   Cherbourg is a quaint historic town. The hotel is on the waterfront with a scenic view. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry dock. Hotel is conveniently located close to main street where all the restaurants are within walki - This was our second stay at the Hotel Chantereyne and once again we couldn't fault it. The staff are helpful and welcoming and have good knowledge of the area. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spotless. We loved the modern bathroom and the superb shower. Also great location, just 5 minutes from the ferry port and the town. All in all a first class hotel.
