  James & Marianne are excellent thoughtful hosts and the facilities are superb. the location is convenient to the airport (a $33 taxi ride in 25 mins) and around the corner from lots of shops and restaurants . also easy bus access to downtown.   We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive.   The hotel exceeded our expectations on almost all counts. The service, the staff, the location , the hotel ambiance , the food, etc. all exceeded the high standards that we were looking for.   Loved concierge floor. Michael was tops, as was the chef and all staff. My sister got sick and they took amazing care of her. Breakfast and view was awesome. It's not cheap but worth every penny.   The hotel is my favourite in Vancouver so far. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar was very nice and had an open front to the street, the bed was very comfortable the wifi was free and fast, the room was clean and had everything I needed (including an iron). We didn't have room service banging on our door at 08:00 and there were no complaints or phone calls when we were late leaving our room. Althoug - The space was luxurious The bed was extremely comfortable The housekeeping was exceptional with little unobtrusive touches When I returned to my room the bed was turned down a couple of cookies were set down on my night table the bedside lamps were turned on and the drapes were closed.   Great service from a very engaged team. Excellent location in one of Vancouver's interesting areas with very good transport links. Great rooms with outstanding beds. - So trendy, with enough space, a great vibe, and outstanding décor.   The stuff were really helpful and friendly. They prepared an extra bed and crib with bedding for us before we arrived. The two-bedroom suite is large enough for small kids to run around and it has very nice views. Although the furnishing is dated, the suite is very clean and comfortable. Queen beds were very comfortable and maid service excellent.
