the staff on the reception desk on both occasions (unfortunately I cant remember their names) couldn't be more helpful. they were friendly and very professional and definitely made our stay more enjoyable. the staff in the pub/restaurant were also very nice, welcoming and helpful. -

Location and the guy at reception was fabulous; he gave us loads of local information which was useful when we went out [for a rugby match we got travel directions, for going out for tea we got a map highlighting all the top places to eat and when we went out in the evening he gave us a map with all the best places to go out and also the printed ad

central station and about 5 mins from the gate and night life. Room was

The staff were lovely and the ware rooms bar below was lively yet also
great fun. Breakfast was standard continental but you can get a
fantastic fry up for £6. We were a hen party and the bar staff found
us our own room for some party games and were very accommodating. If
you want to mix with other groups and are happy to make friends with
the other guests, this is the place to be. It's ideally located
for the quayside and the shops and for a budget holiday / weekend

We booked at the last moment to attend a funeral and because it was so late, I was unable to book 3 on-suite rooms, one had an external toilet on another floor. Staff were very friendly, couldnt ask for any better, always very polite and well mannered. Was not noisy at all. Heating was always on so was nice and warm. Had Tv with built in DVD player. Room was cleaned daily and presentation was very good of towels and complimentary washing aids. All in all was one of the best B & B's we have stayed in. We will definitely be staying at the Seabreeze on our next trip to South Shields :)

located in a rundown area of the city but quite. save as we stayed. a little far from city centre but since we were revisiting a church nearby, it's not a deal. nice sitting room on ground floor with a bay window and sunshine which made us home. nice breakfast. we were allowed to use microwave in kitchen.
