  I found the hotel very cosy and intimate. The bedroom was absolutly beautiful. Will definatly be coming back. - Warm and friendly even though a bit "posh". Room was lovely, food was great.village was really nice.

  The whole experience - the setting of the hotel in a historical village, the old building itself sympathetically decorated and furnished, but particularly the attentiveness and polite friendliness of staff. It was a Pearl Wedding celebration and the staff made it really special - a great place to be pampered and relax.   I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood. I hope to come again. - The food was incredible, the room was amazing... vad folk säger » , the staff were all really friendly & helpful & the location was stunning. Will be back

  Location was perfect for what I wanted to do. Room was a perfect size. Other hotels could not compete with the price I got. - Very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Excellent menu, well prepared food. Very pleasant grounds.

Allthe staff were welcoming and friendly and despite being alone in a largehotel ,I did not feel "out of it".   My daughter married at the hotel. The building itself is a lovely venue but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, plus the quality of the meal really help make it a very special occasion.
