What a wonderful place to stay. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Michael and Christine . Nothing was a bother or to much to ask for. Every evening we returned to a roaring fire in the lounge and every morning we looked out on the gardens while choosing from the wide variety of breakfast offerings all of which were outstanding. Everything. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners Michael and Christine really do care for their guests. The breakfast menu was incredible, with a 'choice of the day' in addition to fruit etc., high quality cereals, a full english or a selection from and, home made bread toasted. The bed linen and towels were of high quality, with each pillow having chocolates (wrapped) as a welcome gift. We had a very friendly welcome from Liz who once showing us our room brought us a tray of tea and coffee and her homemade cookies.
The room also was very clean exactly as the photos show. We were also asked our preference on breakfast and what time we would like. There was also unlimited refreshments in the room. (including bars of chocolate) At

My boyfriend and I are young and needed a relaxing couple of days away from home and work. Liz and were both so smiley and helpful upon arrival, it was as if you were part of their family. The kitchen was full of goodies, breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, milk, eggs, butter and fresh bread. The scones with jam and cream were a lovely surprise too! This B&B is by far the warmest and most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed! I was greeted with a friendly welcome from the owners and a cosy warm log fire in the background.

I loved this B&B so much I am now booking -
David offered to drive me to the local pub and collect me when I had finished because I had been driving in thick fog in the dark and was nervous of going out in it again (and I needed some dinner). I settled on staying put and he kindly made me a sandwich to keep me going until my lovely breakfast the following morning. Thanks David x

We had an excellent overnight stay at this accommodation. Everything was absolutely first class, with the bedrooms exceedingly well equipped and comfortable and a very extensive and tasty breakfast. Karen and Paul were very welcoming hosts and I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it as one of the best B&Bs I've ever come across .

We were welcomed and shown to our room immediately. It was spacious and
clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with large shower.
We ate dinner there. The menu had a good number of mains choices. We
chose the guinea fowl breast which we found rather overcooked. However
the starter and home made bread made up for this. The house red was
mellow and not expensive. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. The
staff were polite and friendly.
