  Everything! Absolutely fab, cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Suite was a small appartment, we could happily have moved in. Thoughtful extras like take-away boxes at breakfast, shopping done for you if you wanted to self-cater, Lovely helpful and friendly staff. It's on the edge of the Old Town but just off the main drag, and it was actually ve - I loved the fact that everything was brand new, very clean and it also had a kitchenette (toaster, microwave, dishwasher etc). It is located in a nice area (new residential developments, offices) and just across the road is University of Edinburgh. It is 20 minutes away from the main tourist attractions (the Castle, Whiskey Museum, Princess Street). There is a parking near by (literally the building close to the hotel).   The staff went out of their way to be helpful when we had a problem with my baby grandson who was ill whilst we were staying at the apartment. There was always staff available even on a Sunday which was unexpected.   We are a family of 6, with children ages 2, 8, 14, and 17. We stayed at the Thistle Street Loft. This provided the best value for our family. Jon was also very accommodating to our needs. We were suppose to arrive after lunch, but due to delayed flights, we didn't arrive until after 1AM! He was quick to respond to our text messages when we did need something. The loft - We had a great time in Edinburgh and Innercity lets was a great place to do it. Very clean, spacious and we'll equipped. Jon is very friendly and professional. He is your own personal concierge. Just an email or phone call away. Well located in new town with lots of restaraunts, shopping, and parks close by. Less than a ten minute walk to the Royal mile and castle.

  We stayed at Simpson Loan two bedroom apartment! The apartment was fantastic! We loved it so much that we booked with vip apartments for our next stay again! Marc is the best, he really takes care of the guests. I am sure if there is any issue he would do his best to help out! Very good service!   STAFF WERE SO HELPFULL ADVISING WHERE TO GO WITH CHILDREN AGED 6 AND 13 THEY REALLY ENJOYED DYNAMIC EARTH ALSO ABLE TO GET IN EARLY AS STAFF HAD JUST FINISHED CLEANING, BUT HAD BEEN ADVISED WE COULD LEAVE BAGS IF ARRIVING EARLY THIS WAS VERY HELPFULL BECAUSE WE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN.   Located a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) from the heart of Edinburgh, Craigmoss Guest House is very convenient for sightseeing, eateries, pubs and shopping.   We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. Dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, fridge and all the kitchen stuff one may need. Location-wise, it's about a ten-minute walk from Princes Street, with lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. You also get 10 to 20% off - We only booked an apartment as we couldn't find a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with Fountain courts & the equipment , washing machine & dishwasher plus the usual.We found the apartment much more relaxing & we had more freedom about breakfast & dining in. Would definately stay here again.Staff were friendly & helpfull. Easy walk to the castle & city centre.

  The location is great; 10’ walk to the castle and plenty of local restaurants around. We were two couples and after reading some reviews, I had my reservations about the sofa bed. Especially given that I am quite toll (1.9mts - (6.3 feet). However both my partner and I fit comfortable, sleeping very well throughout the night. It was a brand new so... vad folk säger » fa bed so that may explain some of the previous reviews. - Great value for money with an excellent location to visit the city attractions. Clean and well equipped with towels, shower gel, kitchen appliances (including a steam iron) and free Wi-Fi. There was a brand new sofa bed in the living room. It was huge (about 2 metres wide) it felt like a bed and we had a good night sleep without problems.

  It was a walkable distance from Edinburgh city centre. However I recommend taking a taxi from the train station so you don't have to walk with lots of bags. We found it very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. - It was a good flat. The only problem was the shower didnt work, other than that it was a decent place to stay Plenty of bed space
