  Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Hosts couldn't do enough to make our short stay as good as it could be. They gave us a few ideas as to what we could do whilst we were there and gave us a couple of tips such as buying tickets from the tourist info kiosk which saved us a lot of money.   Absolutely great hotel and staff. From the moment we walked in the front door and were met by Duncan, we were made to feel welcome. Everyone was very polite and made our 2 nights very enjoyable. The location is awesome and the views beautful. The rooms are well decorated, clean and comfortable.   We especially liked being greeted by the concierge. Booking in and out was quick and easy. Room was spacious and clean with plenty tea and coffee in the room. I went with my partner for a nice weekend break since she was born here and wanted to visit again, we were looking for a nice hotel that wasnt too expensive. Heating w - The owners were very friendly and helpful, Jan especially made us feel very welcome and at home, very nice gentleman. The rooms are gorgeous! The apartments are spacious, very clean and the lay out lovely. The beds are amazing!! Bedrooms have everything you need, (including decent hairdryers!) and the bathroom was lush! We had my partners 6 year old daughter with us and she LOVED it here! We will stay again for certain. Thank you Jan :)

  The way the staff responds to the needs of their guests. They are sooo friendly and eager to find the answers to any questions a guest may have even if it may be unusual. American guests may not understand what all the words on the menu may mean, and the waiter/waitress is so eager to explain. Our room was nicely furnished with comfortable bed and interesting photographs and prints. Staff were very friendly. Located in a rural / commuter village with countryside around, and yet minutes to Blackburn or Preston and the M6. It is the village my grandfather was brought up in too which is a plus for me.

I had just found out that my painful 'sprain' was a broken leg(!) and they could not have been more kind and helpful - Nice welcome. Breakfast ordering service which ensured we were not kept waiting.
