  the staff were exceptional, as one of our party of eight has coeliac disease, but not a problem to them, even down to breakfast on sun morning, she was well catered for, thoughtful and freindly personel - Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.   The service from arrival to departure was outstanding, staff were very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel really special. The room was spotless, the super king size bed was blissfully comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to find. Fridge in room for own use and provision of fresh milk for hot drinks. Staff very friendly and down to earth while being professional at all times. Very comfortable bed and pillows.   Have just returned home after spendig one night in the Crowne Plaza, Chester. This hotel is in an excellent location quite near the main street with shops, bars etc. Also it is beside the bus station which allows you to easily get to Cheshire Oaks outlet park and Chester Zoo.   We had been warned before that building work was underway but it made no difference whatsoever to our enjoyment and all the staff went out of their way to be both friendly and helpful. There was also an enthusiasm for the place that was refreshing. The pool was delightful. - I liked it all .. Cottons is a great place to stay ..
