  I booked into the twin room and it was clean and comfortable and a lot larger than I expected. It has all the usual amenities such as tea making facilities, television; the internet access is free and a lot better than I have experienced in many of the higher end hotel chains. I particular thought the complementary sherry and sweets was a nice t... vad folk säger » ouch. There is a sofa to watch television although the magnificent picturesque view from the room surpasses anything you can watch. The beds are lar - Everything. This has to be the most well appointed B&B we have ever stayed at. Janice was welcoming and friendly and has done an amazing job. Our room was beautiful and there were lots of special touches (like the complimentary sherry and sweets in crystal). Breakfast was fabulous, a huge selection (including haggis) and served in a beautiful breakfast room with beautiful china and crystal.   We felt very welcomed as the staff were friendly and appeared genuinely interested in us and the reasons for our stay - Laura, in particular, could not do enough for us. The view from our room was beautiful and enhanced the already comfortable ambience. The food was absolutely stunning - fillet steak will never taste as good elsewhere! The servi... vad folk säger » ce was excellent, timely and unobtrusive. - We stayed one night for a short get away. The location is beautiful, although may be a little hard to find without a sat nav. The hotel and staff are lovely and the food was outstanding, if a little pricey for the breakfast anyway. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway and it would be an idyllic setting for weddings etc.
