  Then entrance to the reception was beautiful and the grounds spectacular. Eeverything was available. The food in the resturant was brilliant - Everything was enjoyable it was very peaceful and relaxing.

  the staff were really lovely and helpful, the castle itself was fantastic,very traditional without being stuffy. the room we had was fab, huge bed with a small sitting room area and of course the small star lights above the bath were a nice touch...very romantic! the castle has beautiful veiws out of any window and the gardens were well tended. we... vad folk säger » enjoyed sitting in the bar at night it had a nice atmosphere and breakfast in the morning was lovely...best poached egg in scotland so far!! again th - From the moment we arrived we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. This is a lovely, friendly, traditional hotel, with lots of period features and our room was very clean and a decent size. We had dinner in the hotel and breakfast and the food was lovely. Would like to say a special thank you to Emma (Duty Manager) and all the staff that were working the weekend of the 29th November for making our stay as good as it was.

  My wife who's Japanese stayed and she'd like me to convey that the hotel was beautiful and set in a fantastic town. All the people she met, from the hotel staff to the local people, were really friendly and speaking to her making her feel really welcome.
