Fab place to stay. Nothing was too much for the owners. We were made to feel welcome from the start and the breakfast was plenty to keep us going for most of the day! The town was a short walk away - prob about 10 minutes. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quieter than expected as it is on a busy main road. There is no parking available but we were provided with a parking permit as soon as we arrived which saved us a lot of money on parking fees. I would definitely stay there again.

There was a cosy family feel to the hotel, with only 5 or 6 bedrooms and a very personal touch. We were offered a cup of tea in the garden when we first arrived, and breakfast was cooked to order and served in a family dining room with the other guests in the morning. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm. All of the our stay was excellen. From the moment we arrived and greeted with smiling faces, and very time we saw a memeber of staff they would always smile and chat to you. Queen Charlottes Orangery is unique. It is like stepping into a fairy tale with its' beautiful furnishings and garden. The rooms were amazingly decorated and very spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room with a conservatory and our daughters were on the first floor. There was a small kitchen in each room which we only used for coffee/tea, but you could do some self catering. It was great having a car park and the walk into the town centre was a 5-10min stroll across the Pulteney Bridge. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Bath.
