  The staff at the Boars Head were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was shown to my room rather than have it pointed out to me, which I thought was a nice touch. I changed room after the first night as I prefer access to a shower as well as a bath; they immediately moved me with no question. In a wonderful,picturesque location,an ideal base for exploring and shopping! Have stayed in many top hotels and the attention to detail in The Boars Head is excellent! On arriving home I realised I had left my phone charger in the hotel room,and after speaking to the receptionist,my charger arrived through the post 2 days later.Excellent service!

  We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We had completed the "Special Requirements" part of the booking form regarding check in time and received a call from the Brasserie on the same day who were happy to help and accomodate our request. On arrival the gentleman who met us was very friendly and we only mentioned the need for a taxi soon and it ... vad folk säger » was all organised for us. We had booked a double room and were given the apartment adjacent to the hotel which was very well decorated, roomy and well - Very attractive and quirky hotel with a great frontage for taking refreshments...even had a heated wooden gazebo! Great room - very spacious and comfortable. Even though there was music every evening it was not noisy. Fab menu and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening. Very attentive staff who were friendly and helpful. Best fruit salad as part of the breakfast that we have had for a long time.   The room was very well appointed and decorated. It was very large, bright and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a wide section. The bar snacks were nicely presented and good vaule for money. Service was excellent and housekeepng was of a very high standard. Staying at this hotel made our visit really enjoyable... vad folk säger » - The hotel was very close to the Exhibition Centre where we were working and also close to our favourite restaurants. It was very comfortable, the breakfasts very good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. It was a good place to relax after a busy working day and very good value for money we plan to stay there again next year.

  Location, location, location! The room was lovely, bed huge and super comfy with nice linens. The monsoon shower and double-ended freestanding bath made for a lovely romantic break. The free Nespresso in the room is definitely worth having. - The general feel and ambience location of the place was right.   Personalen, service och renligheten är på toppen i detta gammalt , stort men ändå mysig engelskt hotel - The Majestic is a wonderful Edwardian Hotel that is run very efficiently by an enthusiastic staff. The standard of decoration is very high and we loved all the original marble and other features. Ask to be shown round the gentlemen's toilet do... vad folk säger » wnstairs - it's quite amazing! - The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious and well equipped. My wife and I relaxed and used the hotel's leisure facilities (gym and pool). We used the bar - which was comfortable and atmospheric.
