Elaine and Steve were very nice and welcoming, helpd out with directions and facilities in town too. I normally stay in hotels when working away but thought it'd be nice to have a 'home' feel for once. The room was very pretty, clean and tidy. modern but not agressively modern. good size too. The bed was large and very comfy. Found space to park

Everything fantastic this hotel is such a credit to Elaine & myself & hubby & my 2 child 10-9 was made very welcome from the moment I rang the bell :) the breakfast is fantastic so much to pick and all fresh the room were spotless as was the hotel couldn't of asked for more they even went out there way to help my older daughter & boyfriend who was stoping in another hotel they r such a lovely couple and will be sure going back again next yr

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms was 10/10 very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet and no loud disturbances. The breakfasts was really nice and there was lots of choice. We have stayed in Blackpool a few times and this was the best by far and we will return. -

Great Place To Stay. Went on spec checked other guest houses but nowhere near as clean and modern like Number 42. Ann the owner and her lovely mother made our stay great. The breakfast was very good. Would recommend not to try anywhere else just go to Number 42 you will be well looked after. Probably one of the best guest houses we have ever sta

Made to feel at home, room first class everything you could need.
Breakfast was to die for, great variety buffet and full English,
Ann was a great host as was Mum would stay again.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to vist Blackpool.

Lovely warm welcome from Danny, peaceful and relaxing feel of the hotel, smelt nice, immaculate and clean with lovely decor, pretty room with nice en-suite (fluffy towels!) comfy bed and clean crisp bed linen. Good room facilities, tea/coffee, ironing equipment and hairdryer, tv and iPod docking station. Very quiet so good sleep had! N

The owners were extremely welcoming and are happy to help you find your
way around if you haven't visited Blackpool before.
The hotel is situated very close to the railway station and town centre making it ideal for rail users.
Decor is of a high standard and to a modern taste. There's none of your usual stereotypical Blackpool chintz here thank goodness.

Rossdene house was lovely Beautiful decor throughout. Rooms well equipped and spacious. Lots of wardrobe/drawer space for a family of three. Wonderfully comfortable beds. Dressing area with all essentials and extras. Great size flat screen tv. Wifi in rooms. Tea and coffee facilities with any extras on request. Great bathroom and shower.

This is our second stay as Rossdene House is a superb friendly guest house situated in a quiet part of the town. It has everything you need the bedrooms are very comfortable and are equipped to a high standard and you want for nothing. The breakfast is also very good and the owner is always friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend.

Sue and Jim were so friendly and accommodating. We didn't want to stay within the hussle and bussle of the main strip so the location was perfect for us especially as the tram stops at the top of the road and its only £3.50 each for an all day ticket. We couldn't fault the decor and cleanliness it was beautiful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable it was just like being at home. The breakfast was amazing, I personally dont see a problem with it only being served between 8.30 and 9am as it

Myself and my partnrreally enjoyd our stay. We cae out of season and most places where closed but we werent too bothered because we only came for a night away. The hotel was very clean and the staff where very friendly and helpfull. Highly recomend
