Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included. Very good choice at breakfast.

There was nothing to not like about the Cedars. Our hosts were friendly and only too helpful. Our room and bathroom was spacious, spotlessly clean and came with a small bar fridge. The breakfast was presented beautifully with a large variety offered. Bus stop opposite into the city and a nice Inn within a 100 metres for meals made our stay very enjoyable.

Great location and hospitality from the owner "Giac" Unusual
to receive a text both before and on the day of arrival but very welcome
(and sensible!) We were able to confirm what time we wanted to arrive
and check in. Room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed)
The shower was great too. Breakfast is taken in the basement kitchen and
was fresh and wonderful quality. It is only a 10minute walk or so into
the city so was a great location for going in to shop and leter to have
dinner.

Friendly welcome. welcoming entrance. Clean comfortable rooms nicely decorated. Thoughtfulness for guests little touches such as fresh milk available to go with tea trays. crisps / chocolate available to purchase. Fans in rooms (we visited in a heatwave) and every effort was made to cool rooms down. Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. -

A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill.
Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

All of the our stay was excellen. From the moment we arrived and greeted with smiling faces, and very time we saw a memeber of staff they would always smile and chat to you. Also if you required anythimg it was done straight away, with no problem. My friend and I stayed in a twin room here for 3 nights. The guesthouse is warm and comfortable both in terms of the rooms and the lovely guesthouse owner who was very attentive during our stay. The breakfast was good quality as was the coffee, tea, biscuits provided in the room everyday. The guesthouse is just outside Bath centre but there are frequent buses and the Royal Crescent is only 35 min walk away. Would definitely recommend :-)
