The whole setting had a wonderful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff could not have done more to make us comfortable.   This hotel is Excellent! It had everything that you need and everything was in working order! Continental breakfast was good! The design of this hotel is just beautiful! We had a room on the top floor (no elevator) but the stairs weren't bad! We had a beautiful view from our room looking at the beautiful garden! They offered good suggestions for dinner and gave directions. The room was magnificent! Large and airy with a beautiful bathroom. There was even a separate sitting area in the room and lots of space to move around the room. Location excellent and walkable to the Roman baths and city center. Highly recommend!

Walking was easy and park and ride was conveniently close although car park gets full quickly. Would love to go back in the summer.   Lovely breakfast room and full English breakfast.Loved being left alone and not having to be sociable. Enjoyed using the DVD selection and being able to park on the hotel forecourt. - Good location, very clean, high quality furnishings, ensuite was excellent, thick fluffy towels and toiletries included.   We had a brilliant 2 day stay here. The room was fitted out really well and to a high standard, e.g. a memory foam mattress and a really solid, classy bathroom with a super shower that pleased the American boyfriend who's always amazed at our piddly English offerings...in this case he got 2 shower heads at full force! Taxi fares back were £6-7ish but Catherine and Jamie seeme - A wonderful home away from home. A very neat place, Jamie and Catherine are the most friendly hosts I have ever met. Offered me a lift into town, my room was beautiful with a beautiful view of the city of Bath from the verandah. My breakfast was cooked to my needs. I will definitely stay here again and again.   I stayed in a single room which was extremely cosy, comfy and quiet. The cooked breakfast was very delicious. Karen, the hostess, is really friendly and will provide you all the necessary info to ensure you will have an enjoyable stay in Bath. A short walk to town, although walking up the hill (back from Bath) can be challenging if you have poor fitness. A cab from town only cost £6, which is a cheap alternative to walking up the hill. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay at the Devonshire House again.

The extremely friendly owners run the hotel by creating a very warm and welcoming athmosphere.
