The staff was exceptionally kind and friendly. Most spoke a little english which facilitated communicating. the location of the hotel to the lake was just perfect, not to close and not to far. the local brew for the Gasthof Brauerei Froshinn was very good and refreshing! The hotel was in an excellent position to see the old town as it is in
the centre of the pedestrian/shopping area of St Gallen. It is an
easy walk to the library and cathedral. There was a lift, the room was
small but clean and for a change, plenty of lighting. A good hotel if
you don't have a car. -

I was on a business trip which involved an early start each day and some unpredictable finishing times, so I greatly appreciated the owners' flexibility in providing delicious home-cooked meals whenever I returned.
