  Fint hotell, fint rum - The staff were particularly helpfull especially when the remote control for my car was disabled due to the adjacent government which had a radar exclusion zone. - The room was spacious, newly decorated, spotlessly clean, and elegant. It was a great location--easy walk to the Bilbao, great tapas bars three blocks away.

  Närheten till Guggenheim - This has to be one of the best hotels in Europe - even in the Café, one could eat different meals for a week and not need to have the same dish again. The staff are friendly and really first-class. - I have stayed here twice, and love this hotel. It's hip, well-run, andgreat value.   The clean, functional rooms; the excellent location just a little way from the main tourist destinations, but within a 20 minute walk of all the city's most important sights; the surrounding bars, cafes and restaurants which largely meet the needs of local people; nearby La Vieja, an edgy multiethnic area with great character and underestimated ar... vad folk säger » chitecture; and the hotel's breakfast buffet which is well worth the 7.50 euros. - Staff were great, very helpful. Parking is underneath hotel and accessed without having to check in first. The location is great only 10mins walk from Guggenheim Museum through the nicer parts of Bilbao. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The bed in the hotel was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in.

  our second stay at this hotel, the previous one being 3 years earlier, and it is as good as last time. The rooms were excellent as were the helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. The hotel is situated about 20mins walk from the old town and the Guggenheim.   This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. The hotel is beautifully designed and easy to spot from a distance. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful.   Very helpful staff, lovely rooms, good food available in the bar and good location for the Guggenheim - we took a tram which stopped only 100 yds from the hotel. - You got what you expected from staying at a 4* and the hotel staff were very helpful.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... vad folk säger » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.
