  Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options. We stayed in the apartment & there was everything you needed to cater for yourselves. We would certainly stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to visit nz again.

  Mike gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he volunteered to drive us into town one morning. The view from the room is spectacular, facing east into the rising morning sun over the bay.   We found John and Rongo to be genuine,warm and friendly Hosts who from the standard of the room we stayed in clearly take pride in their business.   I want to recommend this motel highly, due to unfortunate circumstances we had to extend our stay to 9 days, the staff and owners were just amazing, they were so helpful and compassionate, the rooms are comfortable and clean.   The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. The kids absolutely loved our stay here and we were sad to leave. 3 single beds for the kids was a real bonus. The quiet and leafy outlook was also very appealing and re... vad folk säger » laxing. Was also right across the road from Countdown (grocery shop) which was a big bonus. - Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on March 11, 12, 13 and wished our schedule had allowed a couple more days there. We were greeted with wine and fresh-baked, delicious cookies. We found the newly renovated suite to be wonderfully fresh. The kitchenette was well stocked. The shower was spacious and gorgeous – a delight to use. Our hosts were very pleasant and accommodating offering lots of advice about local attractions and re - The 3 units that we stayed at for 3 nights were all very well presented. There as enough room in the studios for a couple to feel comfortable and the 1-room unit was more than adequate. We had 6 people dine in both types of unit and it worked well. Shower was excellent and the bathrooms very nicely appointed with glass transparent hand basins and very modern fittings.
