  Azulik is a magical, magical place. Though at first it was a bit jarring to find that the reception area was a laptop hooked up to a generator, this is actually where its magic lay. As you traverse a densely vegetative path to get to your rooms, you quickly know you're getting yourself into something out of the ordinary. It was so romantic, especially as we had to use candle light after the sun set. Really loved having outside baths whilst taking in the breathtaking sea views (advise mosquito repellent!!). We particularly enjoyed being braced by the warm sea breeze whilst sitting on our private balcony. Felt thoroughly relaxed lounging on the swings too. Fantastic location near to great restaurants and stunning beaches.

  We had a cabana right on the beach, maybe 50 feet from the water. The beach, water, and view were breathtaking. The ocean breeze was great to keep us from being too hot. It's perfect, if you value the raw beauty of nature, over amenities. The staff was super nice & the food & cocktails were really good, even by my spoiled NYC standards... vad folk säger » . The Hemingway is very European Boho chic, everyone was Italian. They even have 2 adorable friendly cats that hang around. It felt very tranquil a - It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed every minute at the Hemingway. The location is outstanding, the breakfast (included) and the food delicious, and the staff very attentive and friendly indeed. The owner, Paola, was fantastic. Wonderful place for pets too. Looking forward to coming back to the Hemingway when we get a chance!

  The cabanas right on the beach, closest to the water, are amazing. They have an incredible view and the terrace presenst the morning sun perfectly when it rises. The sanitary installations are clean and tidy and water is hot. The other cabins are a little more secouded, but equally charming. If you can, try to stay in an upper-level cabin, since y... vad folk säger » ou will feel even more relaxed with a good view of the terrain, chilling out in the hammock on the balcony/terrace. Coco Tulum's entire staff was most - The ocean view room was spectacular. Simple small room. Grounds were kept in excellent shape. After sunset they have roaming guards with flash lights protecting the property entrance from the beach (no fences) that definitely provided much needed safety reassurance since communal bathrooms/showers in the middle of the night can be a little intimidating/dangerous especially for female guests. With that being said all guests were friendly and safety was the LEAST of our concerns.

  I would definitely stay here again. The staff was amazing,the beach pristine, rooms are charming and spacious, beds are comfortable, yoga classes also a plus. Traveled solo, always felt safe, had a ceiling fan and a portable fan, stayed in Gaia cabana which is closer to the road,b - Upon arrival the staff greeted us and introduced themselves. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff really made you feel at home. Everyone was do sweet and friendly. The owner Karla was very gracious, introducing herself to patrons and gave us reccomendations on what to do/see, etc. The staff feels like family. Not stuffy and the grounds are beautifully kept. The restaurant has a nice variety of things to eat and they have a brick pizza oven. Also, The wifi was great and kept me connected.

  Wonderful setting, at the end of a rather busy hotel zone, managed in a competent yet relaxed manner. Well-kept grounds with nice gardens, basically right on the beach with a very fine sand. The rooms we stayed in was spacious with comfprtable beds and mosquito nets (around the bed and at the windows). Bathroom is nice and clean, the shower runs wells (unlike the sink, where just a bit of water comes out of the - We stayed at Dos Ceibas for 8 nights and it was absolutely amazing! The staff is very helpful and kind and if you get to know them a little you feel like family. It may take a day or two to find your groove here but once you do you will never want to leave. It is very peaceful, quiet and amazingly beautiful. The rooms are simple and charming (no frills) and have everything you need. The food in the restaurant is not the best food around but the price is good and it is definitely worth trying.

  Our 2nd visit, like the 1st last year was a great end to our holiday. The rooms are spacious, with the very pretty locally-painted washbasins, lovely hot shower, & hammocks in addition to the conventional b - The staff was extremely accommodating of my requests (decorating our room with balloons and making a birthday cake for my friend's birthday before our arrival). The facilities were very clean, breakfast included was an excellent perk. (although service was always a bit slow so not for those that are in a rush!). Filtered water container was just outside our room's entrance. Dips in the swimming pool at midnight were the perfect cap to our days. The best part is that it feels very secluded from

  The place is a gem. The rooms are big and very well maintained. The rooms were spotless. It was located of the main road, which made for peace and quite. It takes 4 mins to walk from the ado bus station to Maison Tulum to walk. Turn left out of bus station to the corner, turn left again. The onside bakery is just a bonus. - Owner of the place, makes You feel like home, very helpful and friendly guy. After checking out we had been left like 10 hours to our bus, thanks to hospitality of the owner we could left the luggage in the hotel, enjoy the beach for the rest of the day and after that take the shower in the hotel before the next trip.
