  Perfect place for young travelers looking to travel on a tight budget. The location is premium, right on 5th Ave in the middle of all the fun, and a block away from the beach! The place is simple, but neat and cozy. Rooms are air conditioned, and kept clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast is more than enoug - Good, clean, basic room with hot water. Staff was friendly and the breakfast included was good. No complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator in the room, but not absolutely necessary. Good location and my room was in the back and 3rd floor - so no noise as long as you ran the ceiling fan and air conditioner.

  The location and the Design of the hotel couldn't be better. The front desk and consierge service was excellent! I'd like to give an special mention to Keshi (the concierge guy) who gave us really good tips and recommemdations as to where to go, where to eat and he even helped us to make our reservations to some places. Despite being so close to night clubs such as Cocobongo and Palazzo the noise is not a problem when you are in the rooms at the back of the hotel. Me and my wife had no problems with that. It's right next to the 5th avenue, the most famous street for shopping and hanging out.

  The view of the swimming pool is so nice. We loved to have refrigerator and microwave in the room (they have a little cooker and a coffee machine there, but we didn't use it). The staff when we arrived was so nice (a girl called Cindy). The room is big and comfortable.   Gorgeous location, right on the beach. Units all have thatched palm roofs and minimal amenities (no phone, internet, TV, etc.) although Internet access is available at the bar and in the lobby. Makes for a very relaxing and romantic setting. Our unit was beachfront, we went to sleep lulled by the sounds of the surf. Meals served buffet-style with one - The location is fantastic. Best on the Playa del Carmen.   The rooms were very cozy and the cleaning was very good. And it was the perfect distance to the beaches, and they had enough towels both for beach use and the room. The operation was handy to help with anything we needed, they even arranged a water dispancer to us that we could drink water from it.   We stayed 8 nights at playa del Carmen and we enjoyed very much our stay at Casa naaj. Piero and Stefano, the owners, are making all their best to make sure you feel comfortable. The place is very well equipped in a modern sty - Loved the hospitality of the owners Stefano and Piero they checked with us regularly to check if all was OK. We had a full two weeks in this self contained divine apartment. We found the cooking facilities really handy as we didn't want to eat out all of the time. The plunge pool on the balcony was fantastic if you didn't want to go to beach, although saying that the Play del Carmen beach is 5 minute walk from the apartment.
