  Very affordable for a Tokyo hotel. The staff was extremely polite and willing to help as is expected with the Japanese. The hotel is down a street about 50 metres from the local Kamata train station. The location is very "unique" as they are plenty of gentlemen's clubs, bars, restaurants, a couple convenience stores, a couple fast food places, ... vad folk säger » and a pachinko parlor all within walking distance. The area did not seem to have a massive influx of foreigners, so if you do not speak Japanese, the - The hotel location is perfect, very near to Kamata Station. The bus station from Haneda Airport is just in front of the Kamata Station. Bus to Tokyo Disneyland is also very very near, about 5 minutes walk from hotel. Don't worry about food. Restaurants are every where, with affordable value too. We didn't try hotel's food, though. Family Mart is just a block away, next to Kamata East Exit. There are more stuffs to see on the West Exit of Kamata Station. We bought our souvenirs in Sunrise walk.

  I've been staying at ryokan Sansuiso 2-3 times a year for the past 15 years. The value for the price is great. Don't expect the Ritz here, this is a small traditional style Japanese inn, the tatami mat rooms are small with fouton for sleeping. In the past few years they have upgraded to non-pay, flat screen TV's and free WiFi. There are a few ... vad folk säger » rooms with full toilet/bath, but most share a communal bath/shower and toilet (single person use at a time not communal bathing). These are very clea - Awesome in general. The staff were consistently thoughtful and happy, and jumped through hoops for us whenever we had even the smallest questions. They are more than kind, and the services offered are definitely appropriate to the price. Of course, the location is also brilliant, right on the Yamanote train line (Gotanda Station), and has a grocery store and many restaurants nearby.   The staff were friendly and helped make bookings at local places. The hostel always has a clean smell about it. The rooms have AC and are well sun blocked. The location is very convenient as it located literally next to two subway stations. As you walk out the front door, there is a restaurant with high quality food, a 7/11 where you can use the A... vad folk säger » TM or purchase quick snacks and there is even a local temple. All of these came in handy for a satisfying experience. Very close to Asakusa, which mea - Everything! The location is fantastic - right next to big sights (e.g. Senso-ji temple and Skytree), but far enough out to not be loud. The staff are really welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The hostel itself is superb and incomparable to most European ones I've stayed in both in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Plus, there's a free food and drink night every Wednesday, which is a fantastic way to meet new people!

  The deluxe studio was very spacious. It had everything we needed for our week in Tokyo at the end of our trip. It was a relaxing place to stay. The reception ladies were very helpful. There is a lan connection in the room, we asked if we could get Wifi in the room and this was set up while we were out that day - wifi is free. The hotel itself has dining options but there is also a McDonald's, an Excelsior cafe, a 7/11 and Lawsons convenienc - Large rooms with kitchenette, very useful as we traveled with our 16-month old son. Location is great - 20m from subway entrance, and central meaning you get everywhere pretty fast. Akasaka-mitsuke area is only a few minutes walk away with its massive amount of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, rooftop pool, a simple but useful gym, laundry possibilities in the basement - all really good!
