Location was great, rooms ,kitchen bathrooms clean. Lost my wallet on the train from Osaka to Tokyo. They let me check in, stay the night & gave me a map of where to get my money. Yes if your a taller person you will find the showers a little low. Will I go back, yes ! -

The staff is helpful and they speak English very well. I checked-in late at night (around 10.30 pm) but they have midnight staff ready waiting for me. It's awesome.
The place is small but very neat and very clean.

This cute little place made my first stay in Tokyo so comfortable and impressive. The room was clean and i really love the bed and blanket...so comfy!! The staffs were also very nice and helpful. Very good location just about 3-5 minutes from metro. Wonderful^^

Cheap, nice and clean. The hosteler is the most kind person all over Japan. He plays the guitar every night and take beers with his guests. He is very flexible about rules and schedules.
The place decoration is really nice and so are the spaces. If you are going to Tokyo that's the place to be. We had lots of fun and became very good friends with

The hostel was located near Minowa and from here you can take the metro to Ueno, Akihabara,Tskuiji, Ginza and Roppingi Hills. Nearby you can find Asakusa. When we were checking in the staff gave us tips for things nearby. The hotel for us was great and we have booked the hostel again for our when we are in Tokyo again.

Such a great place. Locals all so friendly and tried to help us find it. Almost didnt see it and was too busy looking at crappy buildings next door. Its very modern and has great facilities. Walk from station nit very far only 10 or so min. -

Considering we were on a 3 week trip to Japan and that we visited many
hotels and hostels during its span, I have to say that Tokyo Ueno Youth
Hostel had the friendliest and most helpful staff we have come across.
The general attitude of the employees towards the guests surpassed all
of our expectations. Furthermore, it had great facilities such as

Everything! The location is fantastic - right next to big sights (e.g. Senso-ji temple and Skytree), but far enough out to not be loud. The staff are really welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The hostel itself is superb and incomparable to most European ones I've stayed in both in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Plus, there's a free food and drink night every Wednesday, which is a fantastic way to meet new people!

I stayed here for 11 nights, which we're all great and this hotel
supported me in the best way possible. The staff was very friendly,
sweet and helpful, making you feel welcome. It's also 1 minute
walking from a Seven Eleven ( where you can also pin Yen ) and a
supermarket. The metro is about 5 minutes walking and Asakusa about 15
minutes by foot.

The hotel location is quite good. About 700m to minami-senju station. I
walk with my friends to Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa (Sensoji Temple).
Other than that, there bicycle for rental. I rent the bicycle for half
day (300 jpy) to ueno.
For muslim, there a mosque (Masjid Dar Al Arqam) not far from the hotel (900 m). But there are no muslim restaurant nearby.
The owner of the hotel is extremely a good person, help a lot in what ever things I ask.
