The staff was really nice. meals are ok, with breakfast in dining room and private dinner in your own room. Location a bit far from JR station but right in the center of shopping street so it's quite convenient once you get there. -

The full kitchen and dormitory-like atmosphere. They have food and drink for sale, try to give you tips on budget-friendly eating and travel. They will help you order delivery and have tips and maps for the surrounding Aso trails. It is very clean and has showers and bathrooms, you should bring your own towel and dental hygiene products but they have soap and shampoo. offered in funny but very adequate ways :-) Best futons I have ever

My stay was for 1 night, but the level of service wanted me to stay for more nights.
Room was very clean, neat and tidy. Very spacious for a single room.
What can I say about the location, in front of the main station in Fukuoka, Hakata station, where Bullet train stops and heads to rest of Kyushu or to Osaka etc.

The staff is really nice and helpfull. The rooms are quite good, and not small.
The brakfast is excellent. The decoration and the quietness of the hotel is very good, it is quite close to the international airport and very close to central train station.
My wife and myself did enjoy very much. -
Rooms were clean & nice; fairly spacious for a Japanese hotel. Hotel
is very central and in easy walking distance to the main train station -
only 3 - 5 mins. From this station you can take the subway to anywhere
including the airport (only a 5 minute trip) and also can get the
Shinkansen.

All stuff here are super friendly and helpful. The receptionist could speak English and Chinese as well. He took a very good care of us. Very impressed.
If you want to enjoy yourself in a nice and quiet small town, this is the hotel you should book. Not too many fancy and high-tech stuff, but

Sozankyo is a well-maintained ryokan -style accommodation that is ideal for Aso. It is located in a small town about 10 minute bus ride from Aso JR station. There is nothing much to say about the small town, but it is nice and cozy (i.e. don't expect any colorful night life here). The onsen is very nice and clean.

hotel we stayed at. Facility was best during our 10-day trip,. Rooms
were spacious, very comfortable, always clean, immaculate, and even had
a dresser!. Centrally located in Kumamoto with bus stop, street cars
very accessible. Eating establishments abound in the nearby arcades.

Right opposite of the Shinkansen railway station.
Brandnew hotel, very stylish, but tiny rooms. But the beds are supercomfy and the bathroom is very big compared to the room itself. Despite its size the room and the bathroom is very sleak with a very warm colored "design" look. Super well equiped with all possible amenities.
