  The hosts were very welcoming and it was like walking into a normal "Home" environment. The room had tastefully neutral decor and a very comfortable bed. This room came with Private Use of a bathroom which was located immediately across the hall, so very convenient. It was lovely looking out the bedroom window at - The place was easy to find, with helpful brown indication signs at the roundabout. The house was a really nice mix of "charming ol' B&B" with nice modern bathrooms and facilities. It's clear that they've put some effort into sprucing up the guest rooms. The Irish breakfast was delicious. I was there on my own and there was nobody else eating breakfast with me that morning, so I enjoyed a huge spread of delicious foods just for me.   Best location of any hostel in derry. Massive communal area. Live Music played till late. Great staff. Laid back atmosphere. Very accomadating. Would say this would be the best hostel in derry without fail. - Helpful, friendly staff. Couldn't do enough to make trip comfortable/fun. Great location, five minute walk (or less) from centre.

  I really appreciated Steve's email letting me know about the free bus from the rail station to the city centre, as well as all the local info that he gave me about Derry on my arrival at the hostel. I was upgraded to a two bed room at no extra charge, which was great. This is a very comfortable & centrally located hostel. Sam and Pat have spared no expense in furnishing their dream home/B&B and Sam is clearly very passionate about this venture and his role as host. They are also an interesting couple with some good stories and were willing to answer our man - Sam and Pat are wonderful hosts. Crowfield is superb in every way: comfortable, clean and exceptionally well appointed. The room had its own French doors to the garden, where we could enjoy the countryside views and wander next to the trout stream. Lovely place to stay. Very good breakfasts.
